Gray Blending is an umbrella term referring to the various hair coloring techniques that are used when the client’s goal is one of the following:
They want to enhance their natural color without fully covering it
They want to transition to fully going gray
They don’t want a harsh grow out line from permanent color
What does Gray Blending look like?
Gray Blending can vary drastically depending on the client’s specific needs, goals, and their hair’s current condition. It can look like a mixture of highlights and lowlights that compliment and work with (not against) your natural color, it can look like an all over, semi permanent glaze that grows out much softer than permanent color, etc…
